About MockMate
An interview practice platform with text, voice, resume analysis, and structured reports.
Preparing for technical interviews has historically been stressful, costly, and opaque. Human mock interviews with senior industry interviewers can cost hundreds of dollars per session, while cloud-based AI tools risk leaking private resumes and audio recordings to third-party data centers.
MockMate was created to make interview practice easier to repeat: configure a role-focused session, practice in text or voice, and review feedback afterward. AI and speech services run on the host configured for this deployment; account and interview data are handled by that deployment.
Local AI Engine
This deployment can use Ollama for language tasks, faster-whisper for speech-to-text, and Piper for speech synthesis.
Local AI services
AI inference can stay within the deployment host. The browser sends requests and interview data to that host; review its privacy policy for storage and access details.
Question bank
Practice questions are organized by role and topic. Custom templates can be created by eligible interviewer accounts.
